Rhoades, Carlson to exchange marriage vows

Jennifer Rhoades and Richard Carlson are engaged and planning an October wedding.

Parents of the future bride are Jim and Judy Rhoades of Saline Township. The 1989 Milan High School graduate earned a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Eastern Michigan University. She is self-employed as a freelancer in the broadcast television industry in the Chicago and Detroit areas.
The future groom is the son of Carolyn and Roger Carlson of Galt, Calif. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from the University of California-Davis. He's employed with Argonne National Lab in the Advance Powertrain research facility in Illinois.
