Group to give seeds

Washtenaw County Pheasants Forever will hold a food plot seed giveaway for Pheasant Forever members from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Chelsea.

Each year, Pheasants Forever buys seed with the funds it raises at its annual banquet and distributes the seed to chapter members and landowners in the Washtenaw County area.
Participants discuss the size of their projects with a Pheasants Forever representative who helps determine what type and how much seed is needed. A form that states that the participant will not harvest the crop and will leave it for the wildlife all winter must be signed.
The event will be held at Vogel's Party Store on M-52, north of Chelsea, near Werkner Road. Call 429-2334.
