Christmas in Action boosted couple's spirits
Advertisement
We are so grateful to Christmas in Action for sending such a dedicated group of people to clean up our yard, trim trees, wash windows, plant flowers, clean eaves and other tasks.
What a lift to our spirits to look out and see a long neglected yard looking so pristine.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
God bless you all.

Christmas in Action something special
My heartfelt appreciation goes to the Christmas in Action crew that arrived at my house Saturday morning.
"Action" is the key word in their title. They never stopped working the whole day, and did such a beautiful job. I am so happy with all the ways they helped me -- more than I had ever expected.
These nice people are just another example of what makes Saline so special.

Donate your car to kidney foundation
Even if you've already signed up to be an organ donor, there is still something you can do to recognize Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Month. Actually, you can help those in need without even leaving your driveway.
If you donate your old vehicle to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, you will contribute to program funding in research, patient services, organ donations and public education. The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan will pick up your vehicle completely free of charge from any driveway, roadside or parking lot.
Not only will you be helping others, you'll be helping yourself too, since your contribution may earn you a tax deduction. In fact, 84 percent of Americans who donated vehicles to the Kidney Cars Program last year itemized their tax returns and maximized a charitable deduction for their contribution.
So what are you waiting for? One phone call will get rid of that old car and help support organ and tissue donations throughout the state. Just call 1-800-488-2277 or visit www.nkfm.org for more information.
