"We had a good week on paper," said assistant coach Jesse Hoskins. "We played sloppy at times and need to be sharper mentally in preparation. The mistakes we are making now will cost us against a good team."
In the win over Flat Rock, Eric Harrison, Joe Dunn and Chaz Poindexter each had two hits. Grant Karr got the win on the mound.
In the shutout against the Red Devils, Austin Farmer had an inside-the-park homerun while Karr, Drew Harper and Cody O'Keefe each recorded two hits.
Phil Grimmette got the shutout.
The two wins improved the JV's record to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the Huron League.
