The Milan junior varsity baseball team picked up from where it left off last season when the Big Reds went undefeated.

The Big Reds are 4-0, having defeated Sylvania Southview 6-4, sweeping Chelsea 13-0 and 18-0, and taking down Riverview 11-1.
Grant Karr got the win against Sylvania, pitching a complete game.
Freshman centerfielder Joe Dunn led the offense with three hits, four stolen bases and three runs scored.
Pitcher Phil Grimmette earned the first shutout against Chelsea and Drew Harper got the second.
The Big Reds performed well at the plate, with Chaz Poindexter collecting four hits on the day. Barry Bock had three RBI and Karr had a couple hits and stolen bases.
In the 11-1 win over Riverview, Karr chalked up his second win on the mound. In center, Dunn put on a strong defensive showing while at the plate Cody O'Keefe came up with two hits and two RBI, as did Austin Farmer. Jason Tackett recorded three stolen bases and Eric Harrison had two hits.
