Do you know a girl who would like to fly to Los Angeles to watch the taping of the Hannah Montana Show? Is there a baseball fan in your life who might like four tickets to a Tigers game, sitting behind home plate?

These rare tickets along with vacations in Africa, France and Cancun and more than 30 prizes are up for grabs at this year's Habitat for Humanity auction April 25.
The annual auction, "Bringing Families Together," will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Morris Lawrence Atrium at Washtenaw Community College.
The organization consistently plans lively events where guests can relax with friends, take advantage of some deals on unusual auction items while supporting a worthwhile cause close to home.
The ticket price is $50 per person and includes a buffet dinner provided by Fabulous Foods. Beer and wine will be available through a cash bar and live jazz will be compliments of the Community High School jazz band.
Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley is a local non-profit providing an opportunity for volunteers to "swing a hammer" and share their resources. Habitat partners with local low-income, wage earning families in Washtenaw County and extends to them an opportunity to purchase a home of their own and maintain an interest-free mortgage
"Together, volunteers give children and their families hope for a better tomorrow, and make affordable housing in our community a matter of conscience and action," said Executive Director Sarah Stanton. "Our goal is to raise $100,000 through the sale of tickets to the event and through bids from attendees on live and silent auction items. With your help, we can partner with eight families in-need and help them realize the dignity of homeownership."
Habitat will build six or seven homes this year and continues to explore new ways of putting hard-working families in low-cost housing.
Tickets for the fund-raiser are available by calling 677-1558 or at the door. Auctioneer Steve Gross will return to this popular event, this year with double the number of auction items on the block. A full list of auction items can be found at www.h4h.org.
