Gymnasts excel

The Level 7 gymnasts from Gym America earned a second consecutive first place finish in their session at the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge held March 1 and 2 in Columbus, Ohio, with a team score of 111.875.

Several gymnasts earned individual awards. Milan's Grace Broadhurst (age 10) placed second in beam and floor exercise. Kendall Carlson of Saline (age 11) earned the highest score on vault in the session (9.45) and placed second on floor exercise. In the 12-year-old division, Olivia Ozeranic finished first in all-around and first on vault and Morgan Bradford finished second on floor exercise and third in all-around.

Paige Wright, 13, placed second in all-around, vault, uneven parallel bars and floor exercise. Abigail Rice, 14, earned the highest score on floor exercise in the session (9.45) and also placed first in all-around and beam.
