Milan Middle School will bring two stories of the Brothers Grimm to life this weekend.

A group of primarily seventh- and eighth-graders will take on one of the Brothers Grimm's most famous stories, "Cinderella." It will be narrated in a different style by two "senile" women named Thelma and Louise from the swamps of Louisiana.
The same charm of the old tale is there, but there are a few laughs along the way as director Carolyn Wetzler brings a classic to the stage.
Along with "Cinderella," a group of sixth- and eighth-graders take on a lesser-known Brothers Grimm original, "The Golden Goose." The story tells the account of a young man who is kind to a witch and is rewarded with a Golden Goose.
Both plays will debut 7 p.m. Saturday at Milan Middle School. A matinee performance has been set for 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.
