Evening with the Arts to be held

The Milan Performing Arts Center will bring Rodgers and Hammerstein's classics "Oklahoma," "South Pacific" and "The King & I" to the Milan Senior and Community Activity Center as it celebrates its third annual Evening with the Arts Feb. 16.

The event, which will showcase the acting, dancing and musical talents of Milan students, will be held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. It will begin with a buffet dinner served by Angel Food Catering.
Throughout the evening, guests will be entertained by a variety of performances and will have an opportunity to win raffle prizes and silent auction items.
Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at the Milan High School office, through a Milan High School Drama Booster Club member or by calling 439-5045.
The event is the primary fund-raiser for the self-supporting Milan High School theater and its success has a direct impact on the quality of student productions, according to a news release from the group.
