Couple celebrates 60 years

About 90 friends and family members celebrated the 60th wedding anniversary of longtime Salinians Samuel and Angeline DiMaggio Nov. 26 during an afternoon reception at the Brecon Village Auditorium.

The reception was hosted by their children, Rosalie (Tim) Marion of Webberville, Susan (Michael) Fons of Flushing and J.P. (Betsy) DiMaggio of Saline.
Four of their six grandchildren and all three of their great-grandchildren were among the reception attendees.
The DiMaggios were married Nov. 30, 1946, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Detroit. They have lived in Saline since 1962.
