Milan school board incumbent Mary Mehringer was elected to a second four-year term Tuesday and John Leacher was successful in his second bid for a school board seat.

Voters pass millage

York Township will not have to cut one of three Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputy positions currently covering the township after voters approved a public safety millage increase Tuesday.
